The Big Bad World

Yesterday I went out with my friends to have dinner at a restaurant in Gurgaon. As usual we were chatting away to glory, however, we couldn’t help but overhear a couple in their mid 30’s sitting next to us. What initially sounded like any other business talk soon got to down to some really……I would say strange kind of talk and coming from a woman who looked like she came from a ‘good family’. She was talking about using her ‘charm’ to get some business deal and when the guy interrupted her saying that she might not get it……that’s when the wild side came out and she said wo to kya uska b@*p bhi karega’.

After they finished their dinner, we having exhausted all the possible topics for discussion during dinner, couldn’t help but talk about that couple and then finally our discussion got down to the usual ‘why do the bad boys get the women’ / why do women like bad boys / why is it that the selfish are successful these days.

During our discussion I was thinking that is it real that movies like ‘Page 3’ (after which I had started hating the world….J), Dil Dosti, Corporate etc showcase the real world and that we just choose to shun it as not true.

I was just sitting at home and thought that why not post this on my blog which has not been 'blogged' for a very long time.

Guys please share some thoughts if you have also had the same feeling sometimes….I am sure all of us have had these kind of thoughts at some point in time.

DJ, i guess we have seen enuf of these real/reel ( and whn i say these i mean mostly real...p.s pls rem various examples we discussed from pune chapter) life instances from our so called naive college days and i guess our idea about how things are happening are just reaffirmed by our interactions with various members of our 'civil' society.. as sum1 rightly said "duniya bahut kharab hai aur sabse bhali sharab hai"

cheers!!
kal se fir wohi "^$%^$%&*@#$"
